General Tariff Information
Lagos Logistics Inc. operates as a motor carrier of property in interstate and intrastate commerce. Our rates, rules, and accessorial charges are established in accordance with applicable federal and state transportation regulations.
Rate Structure
Our transportation rates are determined based on the following factors:
- Origin and destination points
- Distance and lane availability
- Commodity type and classification
- Equipment type required (dry van, refrigerated, or power only)
- Shipment weight and volume
- Current fuel costs and market conditions
- Pickup and delivery requirements
- Seasonal demand factors
Fuel Surcharge
A fuel surcharge may be applied to all shipments and is adjusted periodically based on the U.S. Department of Energy's weekly national average diesel fuel price. The current fuel surcharge schedule is available upon request and is subject to change without prior notice.
Accessorial Charges
The following accessorial services may be subject to additional charges:

|---|---|
| Detention | Charges for time exceeding the allowed free time at pickup or delivery (typically 2 hours free time) |
| Layover | Charges when a driver is required to wait overnight or for an extended period |
| TONU | Truck Ordered Not Used -charge when a truck is dispatched but the load is cancelled |
| Stop-Off | Additional charges for multiple pickup or delivery stops on a single shipment |
| Lumper / Unloading | Fees for third-party loading or unloading services at facilities that require them |
| Reefer Fuel | Additional fuel costs for operating refrigeration units on temperature-controlled shipments |
| Hazmat | Surcharge for transportation of hazardous materials (if applicable, with proper documentation) |
| After-Hours | Charges for pickup or delivery outside of normal business hours, weekends, or holidays |
Payment Terms
Standard payment terms are Net 30 days from date of invoice. We accept payments via ACH, wire transfer, check, and approved factoring companies. A credit application may be required for new accounts. Late payments are subject to a service charge as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
Claims
All cargo claims must be filed in writing within nine (9) months of the delivery date in accordance with the Carmack Amendment. Claims should include the bill of lading number, description of loss or damage, supporting documentation, and the amount claimed. Claims can be submitted via email to support@lagoslogisticsinc.com.
